Proverbs 31:8-9 · King James Version
Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. This is not optional — it is a command.
- Question
- Who cannot speak for themselves where you live?
- This week
- Speak up once for someone who cannot.
Wednesday · Zechariah 7:9
Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother.
Justice and compassion aren't opposites. Scripture calls us to hold both.
